How to choose between accruing overtime or paying for overtime hours

The following method will automatically accrue overtime hours unless employees are given the option to be paid for overtime hours.


  1. Setup overtime rule to always accrue overtime using the “Comp Time Option”


  1. Navigate to Timesheet>Setup>Options and check the following option



  1. Add "Overtime" to the Global Lookup for Timesheet module


  1. Employees are now able to choose between Accrued or paid overtime by changing the Pay Type on their timesheet.
