How staff can reset their password if the current is unknown

NOTE – this option is ONLY for local Microix passwords NOT Active Directory authentication. Additionally, Microix will add to the system audit of anyone who perform this action using the windows client application.

Pre-requisite - Employee email address must contain their first or last name in order to receive a temporary password. You can bypass this rule by not requiring it via the Maintenance>Global Settings (Sys/Login) option
