How to route documents based on UDF Lookup Value

The following example shows how to setup a category routing based on a UDF value “Blanket PO”

Pre-requisites:
  1. Knowledge of how to create a user defined field and mapping it to a document type (ENC or API)
  2. Knowledge of how to modify existing workflow routing to include a category routing
  3. Knowledge of how to setup routing categories


  1. Create user defined lookup value (UDF) that will be later used to setup routing process for documents. (Note: UDF must be mapped to API or ENC document type)


  1. Create Workflow Category Routing for the user defined value


  1. Modify Workflow routing to include UDF routing for “Blanket PO”


  1. Validate setup by creating a document with the UDF value =”Blanket PO” and verify it routes correctly.
