How to Disable Access to On-Premise Microix Software

When migrating to MIP Cloud, you will need to disable access to the on-premise Microix software to prevent data entries after your database has been released to MIP Cloud.  

***If entries are made on the on-premise version after migration, it will require another backup to be sent to Community Brands to restore on the MIP Cloud server to ensure data is current on the live version.

Once you backup your database and upload to MIP, follow the steps below to disable user access to the local network software.  Only the Admin login and password will have access to the local UI once disabled.

Go to:

1.Maintenance
2.Global Options
3.Application Options
4.Click and put a check mark under ‘Disable Application Login (only admin account can login)’
5.Click on Save
