Does Microix Have a Mobile App

Overview

Microix has evolved from a traditional MDI (Multi-Document Interface) Windows application to a modern, single-page web application. This design enhances user experience across various devices, especially on screens 10 inches or larger.

Although Microix does not currently offer a native mobile app, the web application is accessible via smartphones. However, some features may have limited functionality on smaller screens. To improve usability on mobile devices, a dedicated mobile menu streamlines navigation and provides access to selected modules and pages that are optimized for compact displays.

Requisition Module

• Approve Document

📌NOTE: Document Approval are completed using the phone's email client not the Workflow Modules Modern application. Business rules related to viewing of budget and attachments are not enforced when using email app to approve.

• Review request and approve or reject
• View budget information, attachments and previous approvals

• Travel Reimbursement

  • Enter data and upload receipts using the phone’s camera.

  • Optional AI OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to auto-populate receipt amounts.

• Mileage Tracking

  • Retrieve mileage data with map integration based on "From" and "To" addresses.

• Bank Feed

  • Upload credit card receipts using the camera.

  • Optional AI OCR (Optical Character Recognition)to match receipt amounts with bank charges.

Asset Module

Requires Microix Barcode Scanner or compatible Android device:

• Lookup asset details.

• Assign assets to locations or individuals.

• Add or edit asset records.

• Perform asset verification scans.

Inventory Module

Requires Microix Barcode Scanner or compatible Android device:

• Ad-hoc picking.

• Purchase Order (PO) processing.

• Item receiving.

• View inventory and out-of-hand (OOH) data.

Timesheet Module

Accessible from phones with the following features:

• Request leave.

• Clock in/out with location tracking for attendance verification.

• View the In/Out board for real-time attendance updates.

📌 Notes

• For best experience and full functionality, a tablet or desktop device (≥10” screen) is recommended.

• Barcode scanning features require specific Android devices capable of reading barcodes.

• Travel Expense, Bank Feed, Inventory, Asset, and HTML Approval are add-on features to the Requisition modules. Each is sold separately
