Ensure privacy for Employee type vendors in MIP

🔒 Objective: Ensure Privacy for Employee-Type Vendors 

Using MIP Fund Accounting

• Edit all employee type vendor records and set the Class or Type field value to "Employee" to which will be used as a filter in Microix.

Using Microix Workflow Modules

• Navigate to: Maintenance > Global Setting

• Edit GSID 11 with one of the following values to control address visibility (Note: only one of the three options is allowed not a combination):

  • sTaxIDType: Microix will mark the vendor address as Private if the Vendor taxID type using an SS#.

  • sClass: Microix will mark the vendor address as Private if the value "Employee" is found in the sClass field.

  • sType: Microix will mark the vendor address as Private if the value "Employee" is found in the sType field.

⚠️ Make sure your chosen configuration in GSID 11 aligns with the field where "Employee" is stored (either Class or Type) to ensure privacy is enforced properly.
