After migrating to a newer version of Workflow Modules Modern, users have reported that the "Add / Delete" button for attachments disappears once a document has been fully approved and exported to MIP for payment.
While the removal of the Delete option is intentional to preserve audit trails post-approval, many organizations—especially those needing to attach copies of a check or other related changes or justifications—still require the ability to add new attachments after export.
To protect document integrity, Microix disables the “Add / Delete” attachment functionality by default once a document is fully approved. However, a system-level configuration (GSID 903) controls whether adding attachments remains allowed post-transfer.
To restore the ability to add attachments (while still preventing deletions), follow these steps:
Navigate to:
Maintenance > Global Setting
In the search bar, enter:
"adding attachments"
When the setting appears, toggle the value to ON.
Save and exit the Global Settings module.
âś… Result: Users will now be able to add new attachments to documents even after they've been exported to MIP, while the delete function remains disabled to maintain audit integrity.
