We need assistance with the Amazon Vendor Punchout process. Does Microix have the ability to generate an email to the Requester once all approvals are completed, so the Requester knows they can send the order to the vendor?


Answer / Solution

Yes. Microix can send an email notification to the Requester once a document has completed all approval levels. To enable this feature, you must configure the Final Approval Confirmation setting in your workflow.

Steps to Configure Final Approval Notifications

  1. Navigate to Maintenance > Organization Workflow.

  2. Edit the Approval Routing for each workflow.

  3. In the Final Approval Confirmation column, check the box for the final approval level only.

Result

When a document reaches the level marked as Final Approval:

  • The system will automatically send an email notification to the Requester.

  • The email will confirm that the document has been approved.

  • The Requester may then proceed to send the order to the vendor (e.g., Amazon punchout order).
