Can there be two delivery codes for the same physical address in Microix? For example, one code would signify that the order be delivered to different departments within the same building.

Answer

Currently, Microix only allows one delivery address per document. If you need items delivered to different departments within the same building, you can use one of the following options:

Option 1 – Enter Comments
Add delivery instructions in the Comments section of the document to specify that certain items should go to a different department.

Option 2 – Split the Purchase Order
Use the Split button within the document to create two separate purchase orders, then assign a different “Ship To” code for each department or delivery location.

⚠️ Note: The split feature will not work if all items are from the same vendor. Splitting requires items from different vendors in order to generate multiple documents (one for each vendor).

🔑 Note: Access to the Split button is controlled by your administrator via Maintenance > Security.
