Microix allows you to configure up to two email domains per database. The system does not support more than two domains.
This limitation may feel restrictive if users have email addresses from other domains not associated with your organization. To log into Microix, a user’s email domain must match either the primary or alternate email domain configured for your system.
Note: These login accounts do not need to be linked to an active or valid email inbox. They only need to match your organization’s configured email domain(s).
Navigate to Users Setup
Go to Maintenance > Users.
Click the plus (+) button to add a new user.
Enter Login Email
Enter an email address that matches the primary or alternate domain.
Example:
First.Last@microix.net
First.Last@microix.com
Reminder: This does not have to be a valid/active email account, but match with the allowed domains.
Enter Alternate Email
In the Alternate Email column, enter the user’s actual valid email address (even if it does not match the organization’s domains).
Microix will use this alternate email address for sending notifications, but it cannot be used to log in to the Workflow Modules.
Only two email domains can be configured per database.
Login accounts must use either the primary or alternate configured domain.
Alternate email addresses are used for notifications only, not for login.
