Microix includes an application setting that controls how many years of historical documents are available to users when performing a search on the Document Search page. If you are unable to see documents older than a certain number of years, this setting is likely the cause.
Administrators can specify the number of years of data that should be visible to end users. This setting limits the range of documents returned in search results to improve efficiency and performance.
If the value is set to X years, users will only see documents created within that time frame.
To modify the number of visible years:
Navigate to the Maintenance Application Options.
Locate the setting that controls the number of years visible for document search.
Increase or decrease the value as needed.
Save your changes.
Refer to the image provided for the specific location of this option within the application.
Increasing the number of visible years will expand the amount of historical data the system must search through.
This may impact performance and result in longer processing times when returning search results.
