Microix Invoice Capture FAQ (subject to change)
- Does Microix require specific scanner hardware?
No, Microix relies on scanners that are compatible with the operating system and does not have any specific hardware requirements. Any scanner that works with the system should function properly with Microix.
- What is the recommended resolution for scanning documents?
For optimal performance, it is recommended to scan documents at 300dpi (grayscale) instead of high-resolution settings. High-resolution scans can increase file size and processing time.
- Does the OCR process support batch scanning?
No, version 2024 does not accommodate batch scanning. Each document needs to be processed individually through the OCR system.
- Can invoices be sent via email for OCR processing?
Yes, Microix OCR in version 2024 supports email attachments. Customers can scan invoices and send them to a general “AP” mailbox, where the OCR system will retrieve emails, download attached invoices, and generate documents for review.
